The first time I was introduced to bamboo clothing, I immediately fell in love with its softness. It felt like cashmere or silk. It wasn’t until I learned about bamboo’s unique and natural properties that I came to “believe” in the clothing and wanted to share it with others. I have sensitive skin, and many fabrics irritated me. When I started wearing bamboo clothing my rashes disappeared, no more itchy skin.

Sustainable clothing is very important to me as I believe in doing our part to protect Mother Earth. Did you know that cotton is the world’s most disastrous crop and accounts for one quarter of all chemical fertilizers and pesticides? The chemicals used on the cotton crops are linked to contamination of ground and surface water; then these chemicals can make their way into our drinking water as well as fish and wildlife eco-systems. Bamboo does not require chemicals, fertilizers or pesticides to grow. In fact, it is a natural woody grass that is the fastest growing in the world.

I have an active lifestyle so the natural moisture wicking properties keep me cool and dry.

More and more people are becoming sensitive to clothing and are developing allergies. When we look at the products that our clothing are made from, is it any wonder? Did you know that polyester is petroleum based or that most clothing that advertises its ability to “wick” away moisture uses chemical additives to accomplish this? Bamboo contains a natural agent called “bamboo kun”. This anti-bacterial agent helps the bamboo fabric wick away moisture naturally, keeping the bacteria out of the fabric. Plus its permeability helps keep the fabric odor free. Best of all, bamboo clothing is hypoallergenic and provides UVA protection.

My eco-friendly choice for my clothing needs is definately bamboo clothing.

it’s amazing that the bamboo can also apply on the clothes, usually, people know it can apply on environmental replacements such as lighting, home decor, kitchen utilities etc. probably, the clothes industry should develop an environmental trademark for encouraging the using of the environmental materials to apply on clothes.
