I travel quite a lot for my job and so often end up eating all alone in restaurants. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in WILSON OK where I ate at Budget Mart Pizza Professional and I read an interesting piece to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a great option for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I looked online and purchased a few items of clothing.
I should tell you I was pretty impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I think is great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After some more research I found some more incredible pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find some articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
