I travel a lot for my work and so often end up having dinner by myself in restaurants. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Last week, I was in WHITEHALL PA where I ate at Pasta Bella and I saw an interesting article to do with bamboo. I had no idea you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a great option for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and got a couple pieces of clothing.

I should tell you I was extremely impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I think is amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After some more research I found some more incredible pieces of information about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses very little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
