I travel quite a lot for my job and so often end up having dinner by myself in restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in WEST ROXBURY MA where I ate at Grove St Pizza and I read a really interesting article to do with bamboo. I did not know you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great choice for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and got a few items of clothing.

I have to admit I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.

After a little more research I found some other amazing details on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, socks, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find more articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
