I move around a lot for my work and so often end up having my dinner all alone in cafes. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Last week, I was in WEST PALM BEACH FL where I ate at Albert's Pizza and I came across a new piece on bamboo clothes. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a great possibility for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and got a few basic items of clothing.
I should tell you I was very impressed. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I think is great. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a bit more research I discovered some other interesting facts on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo needs very little water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
