I move around a lot for my studies and so regularly end up having my dinner by myself in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in VICTORIA TX where I ate at Crafters Colony and I read a new piece about bamboo. I did not realise you can make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a good option for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got some basic items of clothing.

I have to admit I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I think is incredible. I also noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After some more research I discovered some amazing facts about bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as sheets, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find more information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
