I travel a lot for my job and so often end up eating by myself in local restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in VENTNOR CITY NJ where I ate at Jo Jo's Ristorante and I read a new article on bamboo clothing. I had no idea you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a great choice for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I went online and purchased a couple pieces of clothing.
I have to admit I was very impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.
You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a bit more research I found some incredible details on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
