I move around a lot for my job and so often end up eating alone in cafes. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Last week, I was in TOLEDO OH where I ate at Casa Di Maria Italian Restaurant and I read a new article to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a good option for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and bought a couple pieces of clothing.
I have to admit I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I think is great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic apparel stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a little more research I found some more amazing facts about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires little water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
