I travel quite a lot for my work and so regularly end up having dinner by myself in cafes. I usually take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. The other day, I was in STONE HARBOR NJ where I ate at Kuishimbo and I read a really interesting piece about bamboo clothes. I did not realise you can make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a good possibility for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I went online and purchased a few items of clothing.

I must admit I was pretty impressed. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a little more research I found out some incredible pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs little water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
