I travel quite a lot for my job and so often end up eating alone in cafes. I like to take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a good choice for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out for myself. I went online and purchased some pieces of clothing.

I must tell you I was very impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. I also noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.

After a bit more research I found some more incredible pieces of information on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo needs very little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
