I move around a lot for my studies and so usually end up eating by myself in cafes. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in SPRINGFIELD GA where I ate at Seafood & Ribs Haven and I saw a new article on bamboo clothes. I did not know you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a excellent choice for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I went online and got a few pieces of clothing.
I must say I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I think is great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a little more research I found some amazing facts on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
