I move around a lot for my work and so regularly end up having my dinner all alone in cafes. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in SPANISH FORK UT where I ate at Two Jacks Pizza and I read an interesting article about bamboo clothing. I did not know you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent which means it is a good possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I went online and got a couple basic items of clothing.

I have to say I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

After some more research I discovered some other incredible details on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
