I travel a lot for my studies and so usually end up having my dinner by myself in cafes. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in SOUTHPORT NC where I ate at Barb's Midtown Deli and I read a new article on bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent which means it is a great option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and purchased a couple basic items of clothing.

I should tell you I was extremely impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After some more research I found some interesting facts to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as sheets, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
