I travel quite a lot for my job and so regularly end up having my dinner alone in cafes. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in SOMERSET MA where I ate at Savas Pizza and I saw a new cover story to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a excellent choice for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and bought a couple pieces of clothing.
I must say I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a little more research I found out some other amazing facts on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find some articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
