I travel quite a lot for my studies and so usually end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I often take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in SHARON PA where I ate at Main Moon and I saw a new piece to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a good possibility for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and got a couple items of clothing.

I must say I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a bit more research I found out some more amazing facts on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses little water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
