I move around a lot for my job and so often end up having my dinner by myself in cafes. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. The other day, I was in SEBRING FL where I ate at Don Jose Mexican Restaurant and I saw a really interesting article on bamboo clothing. I did not realise you can make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a excellent choice for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and purchased a couple pieces of clothing.
I have to admit I was extremely impressed. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry after I took it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. I also noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a bit more research I discovered some other amazing details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find more details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
