I travel a lot for my work and so usually end up having my dinner all alone in local restaurants. I often take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in SEATTLE WA where I ate at Olympic Pizza On 45th and I came across an interesting piece about bamboo clothes. I did not know you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent possibility for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and purchased a few pieces of clothing.

I have to say I was very impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

Bamboo Clothing SEATTLE

After a little more research I discovered some more incredible pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
