I travel a lot for my job and so often end up having my dinner by myself in local restaurants. I like to take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in SCHILLER PARK IL where I ate at Mr TS Gyroo and I saw a new piece about bamboo clothes. I had no idea you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a excellent option for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and purchased a few basic items of clothing.
I must admit I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.
After a bit more research I found out some incredible details to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
