I travel quite a lot for my studies and so regularly end up having dinner alone in local restaurants. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in SALISBURY MD where I ate at Hampton Inn Salisbury and I came across a new cover story on bamboo clothing. I did not know you can make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a great possibility for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and bought a couple basic items of clothing.

I have to admit I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After some more research I discovered some incredible facts on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find more information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
