I move around a lot for my job and so often end up having dinner alone in restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Last week, I was in SAINT LOUIS MO where I ate at Friendly Bar & Grill and I saw a new article about bamboo. I did not know you can make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a good option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and got a couple basic items of clothing.

I must say I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I think is incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After some more research I discovered some incredible pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.
