I travel a lot for my work and so usually end up having my dinner by myself in cafes. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in SAINT LOUIS MO where I ate at Super Sandwich Shop and I saw a new cover story on bamboo clothing. I had no idea you could make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a good possibility for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought some items of clothing.

I have to tell you I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was amazing. I also noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a bit more research I found some incredible facts about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses very little water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
