I travel quite a lot for my job and so regularly end up having dinner by myself in cafes. I often take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in ROYAL OAK MI where I ate at Beirut Palace of Royal Oak and I read an interesting article about bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and got some basic items of clothing.
I have to tell you I was pretty impressed. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a bit more research I found out some more amazing pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo needs very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
