I travel a lot for my job and so usually end up eating all alone in restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in ROME GA where I ate at Central Park and I read an interesting piece about bamboo clothing. I had no idea you could make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a excellent option for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and purchased some pieces of clothing.

I should tell you I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After some more research I found some more amazing details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.
