I travel a lot for my studies and so often end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I like to take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in ROCKVILLE MD where I ate at Kim & Jin LLC and I saw a new piece to do with bamboo clothing. I had no idea you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a good option for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and got a couple pieces of clothing.

I have to tell you I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I took it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

After a bit more research I found some more amazing details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
