I travel quite a lot for my work and so regularly end up eating by myself in local restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in RIVERTON NJ where I ate at Paulas Family Restaurant and I came across a new piece about bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a excellent option for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I went online and purchased some basic items of clothing.

I have to tell you I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a bit more research I found out some other interesting details about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
