I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. The other day, I was in RICHMOND VA where I ate at Stuffys Subs - Fan Vcu Area and I read a really interesting article about bamboo. I did not know you can make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent possibility for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got some basic items of clothing.

I must tell you I was pretty impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

After a bit more research I found out some more incredible facts to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires very little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.
