I travel a lot for my work and so often end up having dinner by myself in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in PROVO UT where I ate at Thai Chili Garden and I read a new article on bamboo clothes. I did not know you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great choice for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and got some basic items of clothing.

I must tell you I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. I also noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a little more research I found some incredible pieces of information about bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find some information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
