I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having my dinner alone in local restaurants. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in PROSPECT HEIGHTS IL where I ate at Brunetti Italian Cuisine and I saw an interesting article to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a great possibility for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and purchased some items of clothing.

I should tell you I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

After some more research I found out some more amazing details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, socks, throws, and baby clothes.
