I travel a lot for my work and so regularly end up eating by myself in local restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in PORTLAND OR where I ate at Fotis Greek Deli and I saw an interesting piece on bamboo clothing. I had no idea you can make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a great choice for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and purchased some basic items of clothing.

I should say I was very impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. I also noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After a little more research I discovered some more incredible pieces of information on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find more articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
