I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having dinner alone in restaurants. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. The other day, I was in PHOENIX AZ where I ate at Sbarro Italian Eatery and I read a really interesting piece to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a great option for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and purchased some pieces of clothing.

I should say I was very impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a little more research I found some other interesting details about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs little water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find more articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
