I travel quite a lot for my job and so regularly end up eating by myself in restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in PANAMA CITY BEACH FL where I ate at Sweet Basils Bistro and I read a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a great choice for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and bought some basic items of clothing.
I should say I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.
You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a bit more research I found some other incredible details to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.
I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
