I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up having dinner all alone in restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in PALISADES PARK NJ where I ate at YAA and I saw a really interesting article to do with bamboo. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a good possibility for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought a few items of clothing.

I have to say I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I think is incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.

After a bit more research I discovered some more incredible pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find some details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
