I travel quite a lot for my job and so often end up having my dinner all alone in cafes. I often take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in PALISADES PARK NJ where I ate at DEH Gee KOOM Restaurant and I came across an interesting article about bamboo. I did not know you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a good possibility for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought a few pieces of clothing.

I must say I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, not unlike silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was great. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After a little more research I discovered some more amazing details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo uses little water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
