I travel a lot for my studies and so regularly end up eating all alone in restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a excellent possibility for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and purchased a few pieces of clothing.

I have to admit I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, not unlike silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it from the washing machine which I think is incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.

After some more research I found out some other incredible pieces of information on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as sheets, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
