I move around a lot for my studies and so usually end up having my dinner by myself in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Last week, I was in OWATONNA MN where I ate at MNH Foods LLC DBA Hardees and I read a really interesting article about bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a excellent choice for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I went online and purchased some pieces of clothing.
I must say I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I thought was great. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.
You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a little more research I found out some interesting facts to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses very little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
