I travel quite a lot for my studies and so often end up having dinner by myself in restaurants. I like to take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Last week, I was in ORLANDO FL where I ate at 456 Chinese Restaurant and I saw a new piece about bamboo clothing. I had no idea you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a excellent possibility for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got a couple basic items of clothing.

I have to say I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was pretty much dry when I took it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After some more research I discovered some other interesting pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
