I travel quite a lot for my work and so often end up having my dinner all alone in cafes. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in ORLANDO FL where I ate at Bacco Italian Restaurant and I came across a new article about bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a good possibility for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and bought a couple pieces of clothing.

I have to tell you I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it from the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.

After a bit more research I found some amazing pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as sheets, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find some details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
