I move around a lot for my studies and so usually end up eating alone in local restaurants. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. The other day, I was in ONTARIO OR where I ate at Holiday Inn Ontario, Or and I came across an interesting piece on bamboo. I did not know you can make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a excellent possibility for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I went online and got some pieces of clothing.

I have to say I was extremely impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I think is great. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After a little more research I discovered some incredible details to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo uses little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
