I move around a lot for my studies and so usually end up having my dinner by myself in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I must say I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I think is incredible. After a bit more research I discovered some interesting details on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
