I travel quite a lot for my studies and so regularly end up eating all alone in restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in NOBLESVILLE IN where I ate at LA Charreada Mexican Restaurant and I came across a really interesting piece on bamboo clothes. I did not know you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a good possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I went online and purchased some basic items of clothing.
I should say I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it from the washing machine which I think is great. I also noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a bit more research I found out some other incredible details to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
