I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up having dinner all alone in local restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in NOBLESVILLE IN where I ate at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery and I came across a new cover story about bamboo. I had no idea you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent option for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got some items of clothing.
I should admit I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a little more research I discovered some more amazing details to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
