I move around a lot for my job and so often end up eating all alone in local restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in NEWARK NJ where I ate at Casa Vasca and I read an interesting article to do with bamboo clothing. I had no idea you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent option for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I went online and purchased a couple items of clothing.
I have to admit I was very impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a little more research I discovered some incredible details on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses very little water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find more articles on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
