I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up eating by myself in cafes. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in NEW YORK NY where I ate at Beacon Restaurant and I came across a new piece to do with bamboo clothing. I had no idea you could make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a great option for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and got some pieces of clothing.

I have to admit I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was pretty much dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.

After some more research I found out some other incredible facts to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.
