I move around a lot for my job and so often end up eating by myself in local restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in NEW YORK NY where I ate at Pintailes Pizza and I read a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a great possibility for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I went online and purchased a couple items of clothing.
I should admit I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it from the washing machine which I think is incredible. I also noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a little more research I found out some incredible pieces of information about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires little water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, socks, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
