I travel quite a lot for my studies and so regularly end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in NEW KENSINGTON PA where I ate at East Lake Chinese Restaurant and I read a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a good possibility for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and bought a few items of clothing.
I should say I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was great. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.
After a bit more research I discovered some more amazing pieces of information on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires little water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find more details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
