I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up having my dinner by myself in local restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in NEW CASTLE PA where I ate at Nifty Fifties Diner and I read a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a great option for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and purchased a few pieces of clothing.
I have to say I was extremely impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After some more research I discovered some interesting facts on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find more information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
