I move around a lot for my job and so regularly end up having my dinner by myself in restaurants. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in NAPLES FL where I ate at Moravelas Pizza and I came across an interesting piece on bamboo. I did not realise you can make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a excellent option for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and bought some items of clothing.

I must tell you I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I took it from the washing machine which I thought was great. I also noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

Bamboo Clothing NAPLES

After some more research I found some more incredible facts to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo needs very little water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
