I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having dinner all alone in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in MOUNT PLEASANT SC where I ate at Sakyo Japanese Cuisine and I read a really interesting article about bamboo clothing. I did not realise you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a great choice for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and purchased a couple pieces of clothing.

I have to say I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a little more research I discovered some incredible pieces of information on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find some details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
