I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up having my dinner alone in cafes. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in MONTGOMERY AL where I ate at Earl's Place and I came across a new article about bamboo clothing. I did not realise you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a great option for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and bought some basic items of clothing.
I should admit I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a little more research I found some interesting facts to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo needs very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
