I travel a lot for my work and so regularly end up having my dinner alone in local restaurants. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in MINNEAPOLIS MN where I ate at Lucky Garden and I saw a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a good possibility for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and purchased a few basic items of clothing.
I should say I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a little more research I found some interesting facts on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, socks, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find some articles on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
